If you share our values and would like to work with skilled professionals, Armour is presently seeking a Full-time Restaurant Server at Tempo in the Barrington Hotel.
Our award-winning TEMPO food+drink restaurant serves up hearty, authentic Canadian comfort food, handcrafted cocktails and Instagram worthy specials in a lively and vibrant setting. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, this individual will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining hotel standards.
**What you will be doing**:
- Welcoming each guest warmly and with enthusiasm, always creating an exceptional first impression
- Enthusiastically inform guests about our offers and share your knowledge on the menu to make the best recommendations
- Accurately take food and drink orders from guests, ensuring a thorough understanding of special requests, dietary restrictions, and preferences with clear communication to the BOH team
- Deliver food and drinks to the table promptly and in a friendly, professional manner
- Responding promptly and courteously to any guest requests or concerns
- Keenly following all food safety standards and systems
**The person we are looking for has**:
- Past serving experience
- A strong attention to detail
- Serve Right certification is required
- A sincere desire to provide excellent service
- The capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance, and is physically able to stand for an entire shift
