We are looking for a vibrant, detail oriented, and professional individual to join our dynamic Oshawa House team. The All-Rounder is responsible for driving the business forward while overseeing a wide range of activities from day to day operations, staff training and guest engagement, and ultimately leading the Oshawa House Cafe's daily success while upholding our brand image and values.

**Oshawa House Cafe All-Rounder Key Roles**:

- Be enthusiastic, energetic and demonstrate a genuine positive demeanour throughout the shift while motivating and leading the team
- Deliver superior food service while maximizing guest satisfaction
- Have a passion for preparing, presenting, and serving high quality food and drinks - particularly sandwiches and coffee
- Manage and oversee the service operations through action with presence on the floor and support the staff through the service periods
- Service standards and training with focus on Guest experience standards
- Assistance with recruiting people and ongoing service training
- Daily Fiscal reporting; sales and labour
- Management of inventory; including ordering, receiving and cost reporting

**Competencies**:

- Proactive Planning: Manage and maintain appropriate inventory levels of food and operational supplies to execute the menu.
- Passion for superior customer service and guest satisfaction
- Communication: Provides clean, open, and consistent communication with the guest and staff
- Problem Solving: Responsible, calm, creative, and flexible to ensure operations continue to run smoothly in the face of the unexpected
- Organization: Can effectively move between tasks and prioritize appropriately between execution, operational tasks, and cleanliness

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary**: $17.00/hour

**Schedule**: 8 hour shift

**Supplemental pay types**:Tips

**Education and Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a quick-service environment
- Minimum 1 year experience at the supervisor or management level
- Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

**Licence/Certification**:

- Smart Serve Certification
- Food Handlers Certification
- WHIMIS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $17.00 per hour

**Benefits**:
