Belle Vie is a café, bakery and brunch spot that offers French artisanal delicacies to it's customers. We are opening a second location, our other location is located downtown Whitby. This café and bakery is offering casual dine-in and take-outs in Oshawa. We will be baking fresh handmade pastries and desserts each day at our location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing day-to-day operations of the café.
- Hiring and on-boarding new wait staff and baristas.
- Training employees on drinks preparation and proper use of our espresso machine and coffee equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk and other ingredients).
- Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences.
- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure all café areas are clean and tidy by adhering to our cleanliness policies.
- Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
- Make schedules
- Count inventory weekly

**Job description**:
We are looking for a Café Supervisor to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Café Supervisor responsibilities include scheduling shifts for baristas, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and ordering supplies like coffee, milk and cream as needed.

To be successful in this role you should have prior work experience with various roles in coffee shops. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Requirements**:

- Work experience as a Café Supervisor or Barista.
- Must have hands-on experience with professional espresso and coffee machines, making excellent espresso based coffees and beverages using our manual espresso machine and ability to make basic latte art and steaming creamy micro-foam is mandatory for our baristas.
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Customer service attitude.
- High school diploma.
- Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality, food handlers) is a plus.
- Ability to speak French is a plus

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
