Surveillance Program Manager and Systems Support

Our Banking client in** Toronto, Ontario** is looking to hire a **Surveillance Program Manager and Systems Support** for a **9-months contract role with possibility for extension.**

**What you will be doing**
- Overseeing / tracking the status of at least 3 projects at a time.
- Overseeing / tracking the status of critical production support items for the Surveillance Systems.
- Tracking data issues in the feeds to Surveillance.
- Execution of roadmap for the development, enhancement, and implementation of the trade surveillance platforms.
- Work with regional teams to identify and triage production related issues. Report back the status of the progress resolving issues and re-runs of any problematic days.
- Define the business and technology requirements for the surveillance program centrally including surveillance development for select surveillance systems.
- Adhere to, maintain, and contribute to the improvements of, the operating model for surveillance design and development.
- Contribute to and participate in the global training requirements for surveillance.
- Contribute to the identification of areas of improvement based on the risk assessment findings and other key inputs.

**What you will need to succeed**

**Must Have Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree (discipline can be anything).
- Experience with, or exposure to, surveillance or trading activities for any trading business (wholesale or retail).
- Experience with production support of trading, settlement, finance, or surveillance systems.
- Experience with data governance, data analysis, or data science.
- Experience project managing a systems development book of work.
- Experience working in a global organization with global teams across multiple regions, large and complex initiatives.
- Experience and communication skills (written and oral) necessary to interact regularly with senior management within Compliance and the business.

**Nice-To-Have Skills**:

- Surveillance, Operations, or Product Control for trading functions.
