**À PROPOS DU POSTE**

**RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES**
- Faire l’inventaire des matériaux expédiés ou reçus;
- Stocker, compter, peser et ouvrir les matériaux reçus;
- Charger et décharger des camions et d’autres véhicules;
- Remplir les commandes d’entrepôt;
- Aider aux assemblages de boyaux;
- Étiqueter les boîtes pour identifier les matériaux;
- Éliminer les restes de matériaux d’emballage tels que les caisses en bois, les palettes et le carton;
- Maintenir un espace de travail propre, sécuritaire et organisé

**COMPÉTENCES REQUISES**
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent;
- Une expérience antérieure en fabrication ou en production est considérée comme un atout;
- Volonté et capacité d’apprendre démontrées;
- Solide éthique de travail, fiable et engagé dans le succès de l’équipe;
- Capacité à travailler avec précision et efficacité dans un environnement de production au rythme rapide;
- Capacité de soulever jusqu’à 50 livres, car de nombreux articles d’entrepôt sont encombrants et lourds;
- Compréhension de l’inventaire;
- Sensibilisation aux mesures de santé et de sûreté et de sécurité en place pour prévenir les blessures;
- Comprendre comment éliminer les déchets dangereux de manière sûre;
- Capacité de créer des étiquettes, de suivre l’inventaire et de tenir un registre du stockage;
- Capacité de bien travailler avec les autres

As the exclusive representative of Forsaflex hydraulic and industrial products, we maintain fully stocked warehouses in 6 locations across Canada, reliably serving a wide range of industries.

**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**

We are hiring a talented **Warehouse Associate** to join our team in our **Laval, Quebec** office. The **Warehouse Associate** will be responsible for an array of duties such as packing, sending, receiving shipments and processing incoming stock & materials in our office. In addition, keeping track of inventory, disposing of leftover packing waste, storing materials in the appropriate places, and transporting goods.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Take inventory of materials shipped or received;
- Store, count, weigh, and open materials received;
- Load and unload trucks, and other vehicles;
- Fill warehouse orders;
- Assist in hose assemblies;
- Label boxes to identify materials;
- Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard;
- Investigate errors and take corrective actions;
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Prior manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset;
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn;
- Strong work ethic, reliable and committed to the success of the team;
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy;
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing;
- Understanding of inventory;
- Awareness of Health & Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries;
- Understanding of how to dispose of hazardous waste material in a safe manner;
- Ability to create labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage;
- Ability to work well with others;
- Related licensing and certification as required (i.e. valid Forklift Certification)
