Warehouse Associate

**General Summary**:
The shipping/receiving, picking/packing associate handles a variety of tasks through the day. Most will be to pick and pack parts and occasional equipment orders. Abilities, to multitask and serve walk in customers. Receiving & picking of equipment is done with a forklift, Parts are mainly physical but may require the use of a forklift. Some equipment assembly is required. A general knowledge of our equipment and product lines is preferred, but not required.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Performs receiving/Shipping process to include small parcels (UPS, Purolator, FedEx, GLS), skids (LTL) and larger flat-bed / direct to customer loads
- Basic knowledge of operating a forklift
- Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. All variances and damages must be documented or reported to his or her supervisor/manager or Plant Manager.
- Responsible for packing and crating of products and materials to customers.
- Properly labels and handles shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped according to the paperwork.
- Performs loading duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards. Maintains a clean, net and orderly work area.
- Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed; repairs pallets when necessary;
- All other duties as assigned by Manager
**Licenses, Certifications and Registrations**:
Forklift certification is required.
**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent; three to six months experience in related field in a manufacturing/distribution environment
- Experience with SAP (or similar software) desirable.
- Proficient in operating a forklift
- Demonstrated experience in accuracy and attention to detail
**SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Both English and French.
- Team player but also able to work independently

- Strong Multi-tasking ability
**Computer Skills**
MS Office, specifically Excel and Word; Knowledge of SAP software preferred

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
