Kolm, launching Fall 2024, is Vancouver’s premier luxury immersive Sauna and Ice Bath experience equipped with all amenities. Offering classes and self guided sessions, our mission is to provide a learning ground for personal development, and create a community of like-minded growth seekers.

**What we're looking for**

As the primary point of contact for guests, Guides embody our brand, emanating warmth and presence, while inspiring through facilitation style, and deep knowledge of the science + health benefits of sauna and ice bath.

The Guide will exude confidence, credibility, charisma, and create a sense of wonder and awe delivering programming within the sauna and ice bath experience. Guides ensure exceptional customer experience is delivered through all touch points.

**Living the Brand**

As a Guide you are the beating heart of our community - you embody the values of the brand. Successful Guides will be warm, open hearted and have a talent for making people feel seen and fostering a deep sense of belonging.

Guides will lead with their own, and encourage vulnerability and openness in all who walk through our doors. We are seeking open-minded, active listeners with strong self awareness around open body language, eye contact and ability to hold space.

The Guide plays a crucial role in community building by enhancing social bonding, learning and using names of guests, remembering details, making connections and introductions.

Additionally, Guides will
- Embody life long commitment to personal growth and continuous self-improvement.
- Regularly post on social media platforms to engage and excite the community.
- Actively engage in our internal team slack channel to provide feedback and positive shoutouts.
- Attend Guide events and additional training.

**Imparting the Science**

Our brand is built on science. Through programming, we will impart tools of self regulation through proven, research-backed techniques of hot and cold exposure, breathwork protocols, meditative practices, somatic exercises and body work to arm our guests with practices they can use in our space and beyond our walls to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Through onboarding Guides will learn, and be expected to relay:

- Science of hot and cold
- Benefits of breathwork and meditation
- Brand and values
- Our facilities
- Aromatherapy
- Towel waving
- Policies, Rules, Regulations
- First Aid & Safety
- Operating Practices
- Programming and Facilitation knowledge
- Emotional intelligence and holding space
- Answers to questions, concerns and comments

**High End Hospitality**

As a Guide you are the primary in delivering incredible customer experience. It is your responsibility to make everyone feel welcomed, at home and a sense of belonging throughout the experience.

This type of sensory-immersive contrast therapy will be new for many people. It is your responsibility to provide support to our guests with an on floor presence, smiling, giving eye contact and being a role model.

As the face of the brand, it is your responsibility to ensure optimal flow for guests throughout the space and check in with our Front Desk team.
- Ensuring cleanliness throughout the studio by helping tidy up wherever and whenever necessary - squeegeeing, taking dirty towels and cups away. Ensuring that everything is in its place.
- Monitoring guests, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and that everything is running smoothly.
- You must also provide support to Front Desk to ensure a successful session check-in process and help answer any questions, greet guests warmly as they arrive

**Leading Classes**

Guided Classes are 75-minute curated sensory experiences combining hot, cold, breath, essential oils, towel waving, meditation, visualization, body work and more to lead, teach and activate the senses or tap into emotions.

**Responsibilities & Expectations**:

- Learning 2-3 class scripts to be scheduled weekly and to support with subs and swaps
- Confidence to hold space and facilitate up to 32 people.
- Create a community of like minded growth-seekers on the path of personal progress
- Fosters a deep sense of belonging, warmth, welcoming and inclusion
- Addressing questions, concerns, and comments from guests.
- Deep understanding of the science and benefits of all modalities
- Using specialized equipment: sauna lighting, microphone, music controls, gua sha, dowels, massage balls etc
- Responsible for maintaining general tidiness of the studio during shifts alongside cleaning team - all hands on deck attitude to clear used towels and cups
- Provide an excellent level of service for all guests with a high end hospitality mindset

**Physical Requirements**
- Work on your feet for 4 hours
