**POSITION DETAILS**:
An Agile Project Manager is responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to delivery in an agile environment. It includes defining the project scope, creating a timeline, operating resources, and ensuring successful delivery. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring the project is on track and meeting the customer's needs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Works with key stakeholders to understand the business needs and creates a project management plan that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Utilize Agile tools to track and manage project progress
- Ensure compliance with Agile processes and best practices
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Develop, review and modify Agile project plans, ensuring timelines, budget and deliverables are accurately tracked
- Provide support and guidance to the development team
- Collaborate with stakeholders
- Ensure project artifacts such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases are properly documented
- Identify and address impediments and blockers, escalating when necessary
- Utilize Agile tools such as Jira to track team progress, productivity, and individual performance
- Measure and report on team performance and progress, as well as identify opportunities for improvement
- Mentor team members on Agile values and principles
- Oversees strategic plan, monitoring and adapting as needed.
- Change management expert: tasked with rallying the teams around Agile project management, ushering in new processes, and communicating with company stakeholders.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Five (5) or more years of project management experience in information technology I.T.
- Understanding of software development life cycles
- Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum
- Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize. In an Agile environment, project managers must focus on essential components of the project and let go of unnecessary or distracting work.
- The ability to thrive — and remain calm — under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Superior critical thinking capabilities, including the ability to think on their feet.
- Comfort with quickly changing priorities and a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
- Business & IT strategy experience
- Knowledge of related software development and project management tools
- Bachelor’s degree required, business administration, management, leadership, and related fields.
- Knowledge of agile and lean approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, among others.
- Expertise in conflict resolution
- Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability
- Proficiency with project management software and related tools including but not limited to Project Manager, JIRA, MS Excel, etc.
