**OVERVIEW**

**Position Title**:Equipment and Fleet Manager

**Position Location**:Sherwood Park, AB

**Benefits**: After successful completion of 3-months probation period.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide leadership and overall guidance to daily operations of fleet and equipment
- Asset management - purchase, disposal, fuel, insurance
- Oversee the establishment of asset lifecycle standards & procedures;
- Maintain all vehicle, equipment and maintenance information and inspection records
- Oversee and schedule inspection, maintenance, and servicing to minimize downtime and (including but not limited to, maintenance, repair, mileage, depreciation, financial correspondence) to ensure consistency in alignment with the company standards and government regulations
- Work with Operations in the development and administration of the budget for maintenance and replacement of the equipment
- Lead the development & implement schedules of repair and maintenance of fleet & industrial equipment to ensure consistency in alignment with company standards and government regulations
- Lead the development, preparation & maintenance of asset files (included but not limited to, maintenance, repair, mileage, depreciation, financial correspondence)
- Implement & monitor the overall fleet & equipment inventories to accurately receive & account for storage, using in a systematic method & cost-effective process
- Vendor relations
- Facilities Management - Assist with acquisitions, leasing, maintenance, and administration

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5-7 years experience in managing fleet and/or equipment
- Degree preferred but not required
- Advanced understanding of business processes and objectives related to fleet and equipment from inception to end of life cycles.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Microsoft Office Suite (including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook)
