At **Earthscape**, we create beautiful, innovative custom playground sculptures and structures that inspire children and adults to creatively play. By partnering with some of the most prestigious Landscape Architecture firms in North America, we bring brilliant playground concepts to life. Our award-winning design-build firm is located just outside of Elmira, Ontario in Waterloo Region.

Currently, we are looking for a Junior **Data Analyst** to join our growing team. This role is an integral part of the team's operations, supporting our strategic initiatives including data collection, optimization, integrations and data analysis. We're looking for someone who is able to manage multiple projects, connect to multiple data sources, turn data into information and information into insight.

**The Job**:
A day-in-the-life of a Data Analyst at Earthscape will be spent gathering, cleaning and studying data for strategic projects and initiatives. This is a role which _you_ will help to shape. Tasks may include:

- Determining project status, pain points, and highlighting outstanding tasks;
- Data analysis, which includes producing reports, presentations, charts and graphs;
- KPI building, project audits, and critical analysis;
- Collaborating with others and setting up infrastructure;
- Researching and reporting back on findings.
- Have a post-secondary education in a Business, Administration, Computer Science or a similar field (bonus, but not required);
- Have experience working within the business sector;
- Have a technical brain and love problem-solving different situations - discernment is very important;
- Have advanced math skills, comfortable with algebra (linear algebra), geometry, basic calculus, and mental arithmetic;
- Are excited and interested in learning new software (Sketchup, Computation Modeling, Advanced Excel, Automation, Report Making and Data Analysis);
- Enjoy collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team, but also work effectively with little supervision;
- Have a growth mindset, and learn from your mistakes;
- Have excellent attention to detail, note-taking, and paraphrasing skills;
- Have a natural ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.

**Compensation:**:50,000-55,000 per year commensurate with experience
