Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines in our production facility.

This position is responsible for producing products that meet quality specifications, by operating machines, handling products, observing product quality and packaging finished product.

This position requires acceptable progress in learning production processes, equipment operation, and packaging procedures.

**Essential functions**:
**The following are essential job accountabilities.**
- Be able to operate machines and package products as assigned.
- Works effectively with other operating personnel in a unified effort to keep all production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Complies with all safety-, health
- and environmental management-related policies and procedures.
- Report conditions or actions by employees or others that might create a hazard to themselves or others in the plant to management.
- Maintains knowledge of and follows the Job Traveler instructions.
- Assists with documentation of material usage and labor time on Job Travelers.
- Performs required machine cleaning.
- Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.

**Secondary job accountabilities**:

- Other related duties as assigned.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**:
**Minimum Education**: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

**Minimum Experience**: Entry level position: prior experience in production environment preferred. Must be fluent in French & English.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
