**Job description**

Original equipment manufactur is looking for an **electromechanical **field service technician (**90% travel**) based out of Toronto, ON.

You are technically competent, and curious and love to be out in the field, build relationships with customers solve electrical and mechanical issues and understand how our production line's components work together.

The Service Technician is critical to our customers’ success and will have a tremendous impact on the future growth of the OEM.

**The responsibilities include**:
Carry out interventions
- Be responsible for the safety of interventions
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical problems with a methodical approach.
- Mobilizes the necessary resources to achieve the work
- Make the necessary adaptations/modification to help customer production uptime.
- Work with the team to perform retrofits
- Travel regularly to the customer’s sites and carry out on-call duties for extended support
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the corrective action plans

Perform reporting:

- Ensure regular reporting and formalize his activity
- Produce a detailed and actionable intervention report
- Validate the intervention file with the client before and after the intervention
- Participate in the process of continuous improvement of interventions
- Be a source of proposals on the optimisation of maintenance processes

Must-haves:

- Can travel/work in Canada.
- Solid skills in providing maintenance Services to Industrial equipment.
- Must be able to read Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
- Ability to manage stress

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience in the baking or food and beverages industry
- Knowledge in Siemens or Allen Bradley programming

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
