Assembly & Wiring Technician

**Assembly & Wiring Technician (casual/part-time)**
- Assemble and wire a variety of products including jigs, fixtures and other equipment.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete mechanical assembly of components or products, and prepare products and other items for shipment
- Correctly identify different color wires, tabs and electronic components for proper assembly
- Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, locks, screws, wires and switches, to assemblies.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies together

**Housekeeping and Safety**
- Complete housekeeping duties to maintain the shop space in a clean, tidy and safe condition
- Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety guarding and general safe working practices
- Wear proper safety equipment and follow safe working practice

**Working Conditions**
- Work is performed in a shop environment
- Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Demonstrated problem solving skills; well organized, attentive to details
- Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability
- Ability to read schematic drawings (beneficial but not required)

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
