The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Instrumentation and Control Technician – Powerhouse to join our GM Oshawa Facility.
Key Responsibilities
The position requires experience in PLC, and DCS control systems, along with experience with both pneumatic and electronic controls.
The candidate will need knowledge in technical configuration, calibration, maintenance, assembly and wiring of Industrial Control Panels, and installation and field wiring of Control Systems
Position Requires:
-
3-year Industrial Instrumentation Technologist diploma (preferred).
-
Will consider 2 Year Industrial Instrumentation Technician diploma + related work experience.

5 years instrumentation and controls experience.
-
Excellent Troubleshooting skills.
-
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Good self-management and the ability to work well within a small team environment.
-
Ability to read and interpret Electrical and PID drawings.
-
Experience in Microsoft Office
-
Electrical experience is preferred, although not required.
-
Experience in a Boiler and Air Compressor plant setting preferred, although not required.
