Assistant Bylaw Enforcement Officer

Number of positions: 1
All students must be full time day students at a recognized secondary or post-secondary institution and be returning to full time attendance in fall of 2023.
Students must meet the basic requirements of the position. Should you be offered the position, with the City of Cornwall, you will be required to submit verification of school status.
Hours: Rotating shifts, 40 hours per week.
Hourly Wage: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Term: 4 months, May to end of August

**Responsibilities**:

- Walking the downtown core area issuing parking violation tickets. Assist with maintenance/upkeep of parking meters
- Biking, walking and presence on the trails and in the parks regarding By-law enforcement
- Currently taking the Police Foundation program, Community College or University program
- Class G Driver’s License
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) will be considered an asset
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two doses) at the time of interview
