The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for managing the sales portfolio in the assigned market and territory to achieve sales targets. Analyzes local market opportunities, develops working plans and develops and maintains key industry and customer contacts to achieve revenue goals

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Development of sales campaigns, ensure territory sales targets are achieved
- Co-ordinate & perform customer presentations and trade shows
- Contribute to the preparation of sales forecasts, provide reporting & analysis of actual against planned activity
- Develop target lists, set territory goals, & identify target markets or new product opportunities to increase sales.
- Maintain existing accounts & target new business.
- Develop the role as a trusted advisor to existing & new clients.
- Communicate sales & advertising programs to dealers, distributors & clients.
- Analyze sales statistics & advise clients of potential methods to improve sales.

**Experience, Skills & Competencies**
- Post-secondary education in a business, sales or marketing program is an asset
- 3-5 years of progressive sales experience
- Strong customer focus with the ability to coach others
- Exceptional verbal & written communicate skills with the ability to complete effective presentations
- Strong project & time management skills
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, online inventory systems, sales management systems are an asset
- Experience within the automotive battery, manufacturing, automotive or industrial sectors

- Background checks including criminal checks and employment references will be requested.
