**Lindenholm Ministries Inc**. is a Christian non-profit housing corporation originally sponsored by
Grant Memorial Church. It was incorporated in 1987 with the mandate to develop and operate two
55+ residential properties for seniors within a caring Christian community. These properties are
located at 885 Wilkes, Lindenholm Place and 895 Wilkes, Lindenlake Terrace.

**Full time Custodial Position**
This position is a live in, salaried position based on 40 hours per week, (typically 8 hours per day
Monday to Friday with some flexibility required). Extra hours will be paid at an hourly rate. Position
will reside in the building; a suite will be available for rent plus utilities.
This position reports to the Property Manager. Duties would include but not limited to, those
assigned on a routine or occasional basis from the following listing.

PUBLIC AREAS
- All public areas are to be kept clean at all times. The hallways and elevator lobbies are to be

checked daily for cleanliness.
- All stairways are to be checked daily and cleaned weekly or as often as necessary.
- The main floor entrances must be kept clean at all times. The windows and doors in the two
- entrances must be cleaned of fingerprints at least once a day or as required.- The tiled floor at front entrance is to be swept every morning or as necessary. Also, wet
- mopped when necessary.- Carpets in the entrance areas and elevators are to be vacuumed on a daily basis.
- Elevator walls, call buttons, etc. are to be cleaned daily.
- The multi-purpose area, washrooms, and solarium to be visually checked for cleanliness
- every morning. Clean glass and vacuum floors as required.- All furnishings throughout public areas are to be maintained, dusted, and otherwise cleaned
- as required.- Furniture storage room, garbage room and stairwell doors to be cleaned as required.
- Garbage chute rooms next to elevators to be checked daily and cleaned as required.
- Daily check all floors, exits and stairwells for burnt out bulbs and replace as required.
- Sweep or dry mop tiled / concreate basement corridors daily. Wet mop when required.
- Sweep, dry mop or wet mop locker rooms as required.
- Walls to be wiped down monthly or as necessary.
- Dust all vents, pictures, windowsills, and decor weekly
- Annually remove light covers and dust and remove bugs.
- Clean guest suite as required. Maintain linens
- Clean LMI and LHP office once a week.
- SWIMMING POOL- Check chemical content in pool and spa daily and add chemicals as required.
- Add water to pool and spa as required.
- Vacuum swimming pool as required.
- Clean washrooms daily.
- Clean shower stalls at least once a week.
- Mop and disinfect locker room floors twice a week or as necessary.
- Maintain soap, towel supply and toilet paper as necessary.
- Mop and disinfect tiled area around pool once a week or more if required.
- Vacuum carpeted area around pool on a weekly basis or as required.
- Clean Spa
- Wipe down pool tables and chairs
- Clean windows as necessary
- Empty all garbage

OTHER
- Garbage bins to be moved outside each garbage day (twice a week) and brought in after

they are empty. The bins must not be left out any longer than necessary.
- Remove full recycling bins
- In the summer months walkways are to be kept clean of debris and swept as required.
- In the winter months sidewalks, entrances and parkade ramp to be kept clear of snow and

ice. Help with bobcat operation to clear ramps, roadways and parking areas. Monitor for
the need to salt Icey patches.
- Assist with pest control check on a monthly basis.
- Help with elevator service for residents moving in or out, and /or furniture and appliance
- deliveries. Place elevator on service and equip blankets.- Pick up garbage on the grounds weekly.
- Mow the lawn and trim grass as required.
- Assist with Delivering memos to tenant suites.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies.
- Be available to respond to _“In House” _emergencies, such as fire department and ambulance
- calls to access building, elevator problems, check nurse call buzzers, etc.- Willing to share the gospel with tenants through words and actions when opportunity present
- themselves.- Be supportive, friendly and caring to tenants.

**Salary**: $31,000.00 per year
