We are currently seeking a Chef Manager to join our team at a private day and boarding school in the Okanagan, British Columbia. The Campus Chef Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school's culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals to students, faculty, and staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and coordinating the preparation and service of meals, snacks, and special events
- Managing inventory, ordering, and purchasing of food and supplies
- Supervising and training kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Developing and implementing menus that meet nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff, and responding to their dietary needs and preferences
- Ensuring compliance with budgetary and financial targets
- Keeping up-to-date with culinary trends and industry developments, and incorporating them into menus and operations
- Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to food service and safety

**Qualifications**
- 3 or more years in a leadership role, managing a kitchen team
- Culinary training and experience is preferred
- Post-secondary diploma in culinary arts or equivalent preferred
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and food safety
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
