Legal Secretary

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to our legal team, including managing schedules and appointments, drafting correspondence and legal documents where advised.
- Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate parties.
- Maintaining and organizing client files.
- Filing documents with the court and tracking deadlines.
- Performing other administrative tasks as required.

**Key Requirements**
- At least one (1) year of administrative experience or be a graduate of a community college legal secretary program.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on-site (i.e. this role is not remote).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures an asset.
- Legal secretarial experience an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
