Reporting to management, the receiving and shipping clerk performs all operations related to the receipt and shipping of goods for all areas of the bookstore. This person is also responsible for the warehouse and ensures the organization of the items therein.

**The receiving and shipping clerk will have the following main responsibilities**:

- Receive and ship the goods;
- Manage inventory;
- Filling and organization of shelves;
- Manage invoices and credits received from suppliers and publishers;
- Serve customers;
- Know the products and services of the cooperative;
- Contribute to the mission of the cooperative.

**Skills required**:

- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative and autonomy
- Be rigorous in data entry;
- Be able to effectively manage your time and priorities in order to complete the work on time
- Be able to manage the available resources efficiently and know how to organize the material in order to be able to use it effectively

**Additional requirements**:

- High School Diploma;
- 1 to 3 years of related experience considered an asset;
- Be able to regularly lift and handle boxes weighing approximately 40 lbs.;
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software;
- Excellent oral and written English;
- Knowledge of French considered an asset;
- Knowledge of the cooperative environment and the school environment is an asset.

**Additional information**:

- Work schedule : Monday - Friday 8:30 -16:30
