Our client, a prominent law firm located in Toronto’s financial district, is on the hunt for an experienced, well-organized Litigation Legal Assistant to manage the daily operations of two (2) Partners with their litigation practices. If you are committed to providing exceptional legal support and enhancing the office effectiveness, we are looking for you

**What you will be doing**:

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple Partners, including opening and closing files, drafting routine correspondence, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, etc.
- Organize and maintain files and documents, both electronically and in hard copy.
- Assist with the preparation, filing, and service of legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits of documents, motion records, bill of costs, cost outlines, writs of seizure and sale, etc.
- Track critical dates and initiate follow-up action as required.
- Liaison with clients, lawyers, court personnel, and external parties as required.
- Assist with docketing and invoicing processes.

**What you will bring to the position**:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience gained as a litigation Legal Assistant in a similar role.
- Completion of a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
- Solid knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Proficient in CaseLines and ACL.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M5J 2T6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
