Hello We are Nostalgia Games Cafe, a board game cafe in Burlington and we are currently recruiting people to join our team

As a Barista you would:

- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, assisting customers in choosing menu items, and addressing any inquiries or concerns in a friendly and professional manner;
- Prepare beverages and food according to established recipes and customer preferences in an efficient manner;
- Work collaboratively with other cafe team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages;
- Handle cash and money transactions accurately;
- Keep the cafe clean and organized at all times, by cleaning dishware, utensils, equipment, surfaces, furnishings, facilities and disposing of waste properly;
- Keep board games organized in alphabetical order;
- Follow proper hygiene and safety guidelines, including food handling and storage procedures;
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed;
- Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods, to make informed recommendations to customers;
- Provide board game recommendations to customers and assist with game setup/questions as required;
- Create social media and promotional content such as photos and videos;
- Contribute to a fun and positive work environment;
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for people who:

- Want to assist in providing amazing customer experiences at the first board game cafe in Burlington;
- Enjoy multi-tasking in a fast-changing environment;
- Have a positive, cheerful and friendly attitude;
- Have a willingness to learn. Experience with working at a cafe and knowledge of board games and/or coffee are assets but not requirements;
- Are hardworking, punctual, reliable, and have strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills;
- Have a reliable form of transportation to work;
- Willing to grow with the business and contribute ideas and improvements to processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
