Project Manager, Technology and Strategic

**Position Summary... **:The Project Manager, Technology & Strategic Initiatives is responsible for Walmart Connect’s technology and most strategic or critical cross functional initiatives. The individual will manage multiple initiatives ranging from medium to high complexity, working with cross-functional internal and external teams located onsite and remotely, involving multiple external dependencies and various methodologies.. The project manager will ensure projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.

**What you'll do...**:

- Applies project management principles to draft, plan and execute all aspects of projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Manage statements of work (SOW) and other requirements documents.
- Develops metrics, evaluates activities and reports on the progress and outcomes of projects and initiatives.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Report on project status, issues and risks to the executive leadership teams and escalate as needed.
- Makes recommendations and suggests ongoing improvement opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing senior level projects and initiatives with competing deadlines.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Knowledge of and passion for technology, including first-hand experience implementing a tech-enabled solution to solve an operational problem.
- Experience implementing or using Business Management systems, Workflow Management Systems, Sales Lead Management Systems, CRM Systems.
- Superior interpersonal skills including the ability to interact using tact and diplomacy while engaging with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time-management skills. ‎
