Relevant de la chef de la direction, le directeur ou la directrice de la formation continue et des sections nationales de l’ensemble est responsable des opérations quotidiennes du service des Sections et de la Formation continue, ainsi que de la stratégie globale et de la mise en œuvre de la formation continue au sein de l’ABC. Le ou la titulaire du poste supervise la participation stratégique avec les sections nationales, l’orientation et l’intégration des membres des comités de direction, outre l’élaboration, la prestation et le fonctionnement efficace du programme national de formation continue, qui couvre à la fois les programmes de droit substantiel et les questions liées à la pratique du droit, conformément aux politiques, objectifs et lignes directrices de l’ABC. Dans l’exercice de ses fonctions, la directrice ou le directeur interagira, à tous les niveaux et à des degrés divers, avec un large éventail d’intervenants actuels et potentiels, y compris la direction et le personnel de l’ABC, les divisions de l’ABC, l’ACCJE, les membres de l’ABC, les sections nationales, le public, tous les ordres de gouvernement, les commanditaires et les fournisseurs externes. **RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Diriger la supervision et la gouvernance du service en ce qui concerne la planification stratégique, la participation des membres, ainsi que la formation et le perfectionnement au sein du service.
- Diriger et gérer des équipes interfonctionnelles pour mettre en œuvre la stratégie, les politiques, les services et les programmes du service de la formation continue nationale et des sections.
- Superviser et soutenir le travail des sections nationales en matière de gouvernance et faciliter la collaboration avec le Conseil d’administration.
- Superviser et soutenir le Sous-comité des sections en tant que comité du Conseil d’administration.
- Aider aux élections au sein des sections nationales et fournir des analyses et des recommandations au besoin.
- Assurer la cohérence organisationnelle et la collaboration entre les divers services en ce qui concerne la formation continue.
- Diriger le processus de planification des services et contribuer à la planification générale et budgétaire entreprise par la direction.
- Diriger et mettre en œuvre des projets spéciaux, de la recherche et des analyses assignés par la chef de la direction, selon les besoins.
- Concevoir et mettre en œuvre le programme national de formation continue de l’ABC_ _(conférences et webinaires) et le plan stratégique.
- Superviser l’évaluation, l’analyse et l’examen continus des services, des activités et des programmes des sections nationales et du service de formation continue de l’ABC.
- Diriger, piloter et superviser le développement, l’exécution et la croissance de la programmation des conférences et de leur processus de budgétisation.
- Diriger et superviser la stratégie de promotion et de marketing en collaboration avec les services interfonctionnels.
- Établir des partenariats avec des parties prenantes internes et externes afin d’accroître les recettes de formation continue.
- Assurer la liaison avec les divisions de l’ABC pour éviter les conflits entre le programme de formation continue et les programmes des sections.
- Établir des relations avec d’autres prestataires de formation continue et les responsables du perfectionnement professionnel au sein de cabinets juridiques.
- Effectuer les autres tâches assignées.

**Qualités**

**Éducation**
- Diplôme en droit (LL. B, JD, B.C.L.).
- Maîtrise en administration des affaires, un atout.
- Admissibilité à l’adhésion à un barreau canadien, un atout.

**Expérience**
- Au moins 10 ans d’expérience dans la pratique du droit dans un milieu juridique ou dans un rôle similaire au sein d’une association ou d’une entreprise connexe.
- Au moins 8 ans d’expérience dans la gestion de personnel, y compris des bénévoles
- Au moins 4 ans d’expérience dans la direction et la gestion de gestionnaires
- Expérience de l’élaboration et de la mise en œuvre de programmes de formation continue
- Expérience de la gestion du changement
- Expérience de la planification budgétaire de cycle complet
- Expérience de travail dans une association à but non lucratif ou un organisme centré sur ses membres, un atout.
