**Maintenance Coordinator, Shutdown**:
**Your Responsibilities**:
Reporting to Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordination of maintenance when outages have impact on multiple areas. The Maintenance Coordinator, Shutdown is the primary point of communication and contact for shutdowns. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that planned maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability. This is achieved through effective meeting structure, inter-departmental communication and strong facilitation skills. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Closely work with the Area Production Coordinators, Maintenance Supervisors, Area LOTO Coordinator and Shift Supervisors, Planners, Project Managers, Project Planners and Scheduler
- Responsible for the Shutdown Plan execution by coordinating and supporting all maintenance related activities
- Support the collection and understanding of all project scopes being executed within shutdowns and incorporate those durations and milestones into a single shutdown schedule
- Chair Shutdown meetings and adhering to Shut down key stage gates. Critical path, schedule and Gantt chart and found work approval
- Work with scheduler and area planners on the job scopes, paying specific attention to sequencing and execution conflicts of all areas. (Production, loadout, Wellfield, Projects)
- Consider the critical path job(s) and develop some back-up plans to mitigate schedule impacts. Develop and support Gantt chart
- Engage Production to incorporate LOTO and any production tasks planned in the shutdown window to ensure equipment scheduled is available and cleaned
- Work with supervisors to coordinate work via the sequenced schedule
- Work with QA/QC to try to proactively identify likely “found scope” based on previous shutdowns, estimate repair times for those scopes
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and coordinated shut down process
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the maintenance team

**You**:

- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years Supervisory Experience leading/coaching people is preferred
- 5 to 8 years Industrial or manufacturing experience required, operating experience including field and panel duties
- Production or processing multi area experience within the Bethune Production program is preferred
- Well-developed leadership, organizational, consultation and relationship building skills, ability to demonstrates effective relationship building skills (participates/leads in team meetings, actively shares knowledge, respects differences of opinions, receives feedback openly)
- Ability to display a reasoned perspective and brings resolution to issues while considering all areas of impact
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (SAP) considered an asset
