Sales Account Manager

**Job Overview**
As a Sales Account Manager at 3Tenets Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. The role requires the individual to act as an independent contractor.
You will identify potential clients, understand their cybersecurity needs, and effectively communicate the value of our services. This role is suited for a proactive, results-driven sales professional with a passion for cybersecurity and a track record in business development and client relationship management.
The role will require a commitment of 25 hours per week, with the ability to travel to client sites within Ontario, Canada as needed. Compensation for travel and client meetings will be provided.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Sales Strategy & Planning**: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand market presence. Participate in regular sales meetings, report progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
- **Quota Achievement**: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals by closing client engagements and maximizing upselling opportunities.
- **Consultative Selling**: Engage with clients to understand their specific security challenges, presenting tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
- **Proposal & Contract Management**: Support the preparation of detailed proposals, pricing and contract documents, while ensuring alignment with company policies and client needs.
- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, following up post-project to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
- **Market & Industry Knowledge**: Stay informed about cybersecurity trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify areas for growth and product/service enhancements.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the IT or cybersecurity industry
**Skills**:
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage in client negotiation.
- An understanding of cybersecurity concepts, penetration testing, and information security solutions or the ability to quickly learn new concepts.
- Analytical skills to understand client needs and translate them into solutions.
- Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office Suite, and sales tracking tools.
