Prostar Well Service is a leading provider in the oil and gas industry, specializing in high-quality automated well service equipment and services. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a **Shipping and Receiving / Jr. Purchaser**. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in purchasing and logistics, especially in the oil and gas industry or a manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Shipping and Receiving**:

- Accurately receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate the shipping of materials, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory control of all received items.
- Work collaboratively with operations personnel to manage and optimize inventory in Bonnyville and Calgary shops.
- **Jr. Purchaser Duties**:

- Assist in procuring materials for our shop and field operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely supply of high-quality parts.
- Compare pricing, maintain supplier relations, and follow up on purchase orders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material needs and minimize delays.
- **Document Control & Build Books**:

- Create and maintain detailed build books for equipment, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Manage and track all procurement-related documents, including purchase orders, shipping documents, and invoices.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping for all shipments and receipts.
- Manage QA Certifications of Compliance (COC), MTRs and calibration documents.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience in Oil & Gas Equipment** or **Manufacturing **is a strong asset.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, and/or procurement.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and document control procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
