**We are hiring a Junior Production Supervisor (Junior Area Manager, Production) for our Day Shift**

Junior Production Supervisor (Junior Area Manager, Production) is a member of the Operations Management team reporting to the Senior Area Manager. The role is responsible for leading production employees and ensuring safety, quality and production targets are met in a Lean environment.

**What You Will Do**
- Supervise a staff of 5 lead hand and 35 hourly employees (Team in total)
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and advising personnel on safe work practices to meet Safety and 5S targets
- Meet quality targets through the participation and leading improvements in all aspects of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost through the use of daily management, various Quality and Lean tools, and Process Problem Solving.
- Ensure execution of the production plan to meet customer demand.
- Participate in Lean Glass house and COQ to meet TCP targets
- Communicate monthly talks to the hourly employees regarding policies, procedures and other changes.
- Coordinate required inquires for all team members.
- Responsible for employee training and tracking of new hires and cross-training
- Verify production entries, troubleshoot and audit daily reports
- Conduct new employee evaluations during the probationary period
