About the Role

The Assembly Production Specialist is responsible for assembling products using assigned welding equipment/machinery. This role requires attention to quality, operational procedures, and occupational health and safety.

  • Operate machinery/equipment by loading single or multiple parts onto fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment within scope of responsibility.
  • Be flexible and open to changes in assignment to provide support to other areas of the department.
  • Train workers (full-time or temporary) in machine-specific training as required.
  • Evaluate WIP to ensure it meets standards.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process to improve productivity and quality.
  • Alert supervisor/lead hand of any safety, quality, maintenance, or production concerns related to equipment.
  • Perform First Offs and Last Offs as required.
  • Conduct visual and documented inspections on parts as required by the customer.
  • Able to operate basic computer functions, including software programs and applications.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $55,000 and $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
