Stationary Processing Equipment Operator

To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a **Stationary Processing Equipment Operator**: to join our West Edmonton team. This role is responsible for production processes including tire shredding, rasping, granulation, and milling.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate processing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and quality inspections.
- Ensure accurate reporting of production information and provide feedback to Supervisor.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Opportunity for further duties.
**Core Competencies**:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with and maintaining grinding and screening equipment, conveyors, bearings, etc.
- Proven verbal and written English communication skills
- Organizational and time management abilities
- General awareness of area risks and hazards and proper safe mitigation of them.
- Ability to work as a member of a team or with limited supervision
- Ability to maintain professionalism
- Ability to complete legible written reports as required
- High standards for work, great attention to detail
- Confident, resourceful, and highly motivated
**Education and Experience**:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 5 years of working in a production/maintenance plant operations setting preferred
- First Aid Certification is considered an asset
- Forklift Certification is considered an asset
