Millwright - Mechanical Equipment Assembler

About the Role:
At Alberta Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for assembling and maintaining mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Construct foundations for machinery
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Install machinery and equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Commission systems and components
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Permanent employment with 35 hours per week
- English as the primary language of work
