Division Lead

Reporting to the Central Director of Operations Ontario, this position is responsible for managing the numerous projects associated with our revenue largest division. This position will primarily be responsible for the ongoing execution of numerous projects and managing the team that supports this role.
The responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Multi Residential project management team, sharing in responsibility for the overall performance of the division’s success both through delivering projects successfully but also focusing on positive customer experiences
- Maintain revenue and budget forecast and targets for fiscal year with Sales and Tech division leads, reviewed on a monthly basis
- Distribution of project work with the team and determine project management resources required based upon workload derived from forecast
- Identify shortages / surpluses of project management and technician resources
- Leads and develops staff - including responsibility for onboarding new employees, setting objectives, evaluating performance & expectations, coaching and mentoring, working jointly with employees in the development of their career path, ensuring that adequate training is provided
- Measure and hold accountable staff for their responsibilities and performance
- Ensure project budget and actual hours are kept relevant during the execution of projects
- Develops and maintains a positive work environment for employees
- Identify training requirements for team
- Review and distribute incoming project workload through the division project management team
- Review handover package for completeness and provide feedback to sales team of any issues identified for correction prior to move projects into kick-off phase
- Scheduling of internal project Kick-off meeting with all relevant departments as needed
- Manage, with the service lead, scheduling calendar for technician resources per division
- Implement an agreed action plan to the appropriate standards and deadlines
- Manage client expectations and project timelines
- Manage contractors and full cycle of project management
- Ensure the effective preparation and delivery of all project events, meetings and documentation
- Follow up with clients when the project installation is complete, schedule verifications, proceed with closing documents, and follow up with client as required.
- Delivery of all periodic reporting as it pertains to the scope of on going activities.
- Schedule Close Out meeting with division leads
- Responsible for effective flow of information between team members and stakeholders
- Evaluate ongoing work order/project activity and report on progress/deficiencies
- Work with our Health and Safety Office to ensure our technicians are working in conditions in accordance with our health and safety policies and procedures
- Track progress and ensure on-time delivery of critical milestones
- Provide 24hr responses to inquiries from team members, subcontractors and clients
- Manage conflicting priorities
- Responsible for administrative duties appropriate and necessary for smooth project implementation
- Co-ordinate incoming requests from our clients and other departments
- Update and manage information workflows in our CRM
- Provide outstanding customer service with internal and external customers
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor with team members and stakeholders

Skills and Experience
- College diploma & Trade experience, University degree will be an asset.
- A minimum of 3 years project management experience and a PMP would be an asset.
- Familiar with the construction management process including the administration of CCDC agreements.
