The West Vancouver Community Services Department has an immediate opening for a Replacement Temporary Full-Time Food Services Cooks at the Seniors Activity Centre (SAC). Reporting to the Food Services Coordinator, this position will be responsible for:

- Preparing a variety of foods for the Food Services area and catering orders in conformance with the health regulations, safe practices and established standards;
- coordinating, leading, motivating and mentoring volunteers in serving and preparation of food and cleaning duties;
- playing a key leadership and high functioning team player role with the kitchen staff team
- helping with the receiving of orders and inventory control; and,
- performing related works as required.Position Status:
Union (WVMEA) - Replacement Temporary Full-Time

Hours of Work:
35 hours per week. Hours and days of work may vary and will include weekend and/or early morning or evening hours.

Starting Rate of Pay:
Market Adjustment: $23.87 per hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits.

This position has a pay structure with five steps which increases based on hours worked.
