We are an established Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the I.T. space, serving clients at a fixed monthly rate. Our clients are all small to mid-size businesses such as accountants, greenhouses, engineering firms, not for profits, as well as larger companies including manufacturing plants.

The Account Manager position will report to the executive team and work directly with our clients to help ensure they have a full understanding of their service offering, the state of open projects and accounting concerns. The account manager will be responsible for holding quarterly meetings with each client to discuss client concerns and opportunities. This role acts as a main business contact for our clients and oversees creating proposals as well as driving forward the information gathering process for the quarterly meetings and initiatives that come from that meeting.

This role requires interfacing with C-Suite and Ownership at our clients as well as internally and therefore experience working with executives would be an asset. The person that will be successful in this role will have strong organizational skills, diligence to the processes and timelines as well as a high level of professionalism. This role will be a full-time salaried position in our Fonthill office.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Be comfortable presenting proposals to executives.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Prepare reports on account status and service delivery.
- Diffuse and handle client escalations when needed // Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by suggesting improvements for processes.
- Represent our company at networking, trade shows and client events.
- Maintain the client information systems to ensure contract accuracy.
- Coordinate with projects for proper timelines on project delivery.
- Hold quarterly business review meetings.

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience working with leadership/ownership or executives.
- Understanding of business and business operations with an ability to think strategically.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Proficiency in English and fantastic at communicating both verbally and in written format.
- Exemplary planning and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve, communicate during outages, and de-escalate irate clients.
- High level verbal and written communications skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Minimum High School diploma with preferred experience working on high level accounts in an account management position and/or a post-secondary degree in business or business management.
