**Junior Project Coordinator**

The Junior Project Coordinator will assist in the coordination and estimation of various projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of interpreting drawings and specifications to provide precise quotes and material listings. The Junior Project Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Estimator and other team members to ensure efficient project execution.

**Responsibilities**:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Support the management and interpretation of receiving and picking drawings to ensure efficient and accurate handling, storage, and retrieval of inventory.
- Create material take-offs to accurately quantify and document all necessary materials, ensuring efficient and precise packing and logistics for shipping.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is properly prepared and organized before dispatching drivers to site.
- Assist with the walk-in customers and manage counter sales to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Update Excel sheets to accurately track and prepare invoices for billing purposes.
- Coordinate and organize small fabrication orders to streamline warehouse logistics operations.
- Assist to pick material and receive product to support the warehouse operations.
- Input material data using the Navision system to ensure accurate tracking, pricing, and availability for generating reliable estimates and quotes.
- Prepare and distribute site copies of documentation to ensure all team members have accurate and up-to-date information for installations.
- Prepare stock listing projects using Fabrication Sheets on pipe editor software to ensure precise documentation and management of materials for fabrication tasks.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that cut sheets and product information are sent along with the fabricated product to maintain accuracy and quality control.
- Support with necessary adjustments to projects, ensuring that changes are accurately implemented and aligned with project goals and requirements.
- Assist with customer phone calls to provide timely and accurate information related to project quoting and estimating, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their projects, fostering transparency and trust through regular feedback.
- Engage in training sessions and attend meetings as necessary to ensure continuous professional development and effective team collaboration.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary Education in the project management or relevant work experience.
- Minimum one - two (1-2) years of experience in project management, estimating or a related field.
- Experience in estimating software and tools is an asset (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge on fire protection equipment and materials (Sprinkler Industry) is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing project requirements.
- Able to handle and produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to provide excellent customer service, able to interact with all levels in a professional, and positive manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as required.

**Work Conditions**:

- Collaboration with team members and leadership through virtual meetings and messaging platforms.
- Adherence to office safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
