We're gearing up for 2024 and looking for some fellow dog lovers to join our team We are looking to hire a casual/part-time Wedding Dog Attendant in the Kitchener/Cambridge/Waterloo region.

Black Dog Weddings is looking for an individual who absolutely loves dogs but is also comfortable (and physically capable) handling all types and sizes of dogs and has a good foundation understanding of their behaviours.

Not sure about working in the wedding industry? No worries, we provide training

Qualifications include:
Prior dog care experience is preferred.

Pet First Aid certified an asset.

Weekend availability and willing to travel on occasion.

Have an interest in working in the wedding industry and be social when interacting with all parties involved in the wedding day (we're talking fellow wedding professionals, couples, wedding guests and many more)

Be friendly and provide exceptional client care for both humans and their beloved pups.

Physically able to stand on their feet and actively handle dog(s) for two to six hours at a time in a variety of environments.

Have exceptional time management skills and able to adhere to both dog care and wedding timelines.

**Requirements**:
Our Wedding Dog Attendants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must be 18 years or older for insurance purposes.

Must pass a vulnerable sector check and submit references on request.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
