**What is Required for the Position**
- 3 - 5 years’ experience operating an auger bore machine.
- Familiarity with heavy construction and sewer & watermain installation processes.
- Must be comfortable lifting upto 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines.
- Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
- Good communication skills

**The Job**

As an Earth Boring Auger Boring Operator will be responsible for operating auger boring machines to install underground utilities and conduits. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and the ability to work in various ground conditions to ensure accurate and efficient drilling operations.

**The Tasks**
- Utilize the auger boring machine to install pipes, conduits, and cables while adhering to project specifications and safety standards.
- Interpret project plans and blueprints to determine boring requirements.
- Prepare the machine for operation by inspecting and ensuring all components are in working order.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed to keep the equipment operational.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary.
- Assist in completing construction projects in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Ensuring safety practices and procedures are observed and followed.
- Communication of daily work, safety related issues and any other required project documentation.
- Additional duties may be required.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
