Procurement Officer

**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare RFP / RFQ and negotiate purchasing terms & conditions.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and secure the best possible pricing & terms.
- Develop, implement and comply with procurement policies and procedures.
- Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria
- Review monthly MRP, Forecasts and Inventory levels.
- Prepare and review purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Expedite orders to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Research and identify alternative vendors for critical raw materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues/concerns.
- **Requirements and skills**:_
- Minimum of one years of buying, or planning or production planning or procurement experience is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of procurement strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and enterprise resource planning systems.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred.
