Richmond Hill, Canada York Rehab Clinic Full time

As a multidisciplinary rehab clinic, we are looking for **Receptionist / Front desk administrator **who is passionate about delivering the best possible care to our patients at the front desk.

This is a part-time to permanent position and it can be promoted to clinic administrator as well.
- The related background gob/study is considered

**Locations**:

- 10825 Yonge street, Richmond hill, Ontario. L4C 3E3.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures a good flow in the clinic by managing patients' appointments and wait time
- Processing of extended health insurance (TELUS, MVA, and so on)
- Assisting therapists with managing patients, including preparing exam/treatment rooms between visits.
- Participate in patient health status assessment and treatment plans with therapists
- Assists patients with registration forms and any other required paperwork
- Reviews and updates patients' demographics and obtains necessary information as required
- Processes payments on point-of-sale machine

**Requirements**:

- **Persian/Farsi language is required.**:

- **Availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8 hrs/day and Saturday 6 hrs/day.**:

- Kinesiology/science undergraduate student preffered.
- Previous experience in a Rehab Clinic, physiotherapy clinic, and Medical and Dental clinic is an asset.
- A Medical Office Administration certificate/diploma is considered an asset.
- Experience with appointment booking software is an asset.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with electronic charting systems and/or fax.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written English.
- Ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize, and cope with frequent interruptions and deadlines in a calm manner.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to ensure professionalism in all communications with existing and potential patients and deliver superior service to patients and colleagues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 30 per week
