**Role Summary**:
This position supports the on-going operations of the hosted ERP and EDI systems along with the implementation of modifications and enhancements to the manufacturing system ensuring reliability and currency for all company requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the activities of manufacturing staff in systems analysis, design, programming, and implementation
- Set the methodologies for program and system documentation ensuring system integrity
- Support staff for the iSeries network services
- Maintains communication tools such as phone systems, radios, paging and notification systems
- Approve specifications for all new changes and enhancements to the manufacturing systems
- Manage the release of updates from the system vendor
- Provide capital budget data to maintain the business direction and MIS strategies
- Provide expense budget data to ensure accounting of MIS costs within the planned strategies
- Manage AS/400 network system hardware and software providing response times and availability to network users
- Manage the provision of off-hours user and system support at all times (24/7 support)
- Work safely and follow all safety rules at all times.
- Report any unsafe or unhealthy conditions immediately.
- Play an active role in maintaining housekeeping in the area and ensure that area of responsibility is clean, tidy and organized at all times.
- Attend training as required or as assigned.
- Know what to do in an emergency.
- Know the operating instructions for all equipment and processes where you are assigned. Know the pre start-up inspection process, hazards, protective measures, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, start and stop procedures and equipment limitations.
- Attend all physical examinations and tests including those required for respirator use and hearing protection.
- Be knowledgeable about any chemicals that you work with or that are in your immediate environment.
- Wear required PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, aprons, respirators, and head protection.
- Provide support and other duties deemed appropriate by the department manager

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**:

- Role preferred Degree, Diploma, equivalent certification in Information Technology, Systems Administration or Business Systems

**WORK EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience in administration of Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 servers, Windows 10 environment
- Automotive manufacturing IT experience

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in administration of Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 servers, Windows 10 environment - Automotive manufacturing IT experience- Microsoft Office
- Proven, dependable, resourceful as individual
- Demonstrated contributor in a team environment
- Excellent knowledge of electronic data interchange technologies (EDI), manufacturing systems, and manufacturing methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent design and analysis to create customized queries in the following general areas:

- CMS ERP System
- Funnelcloud
- Ignition
- Inventory management
- Financial systems
- EDI data, structures and methodologies
- Shipping/receiving
- Bar coding
- Scheduling
- Shop floor control to support data collection systems
- Material requirements planning (MRP)
- Data structures
- Programming language technology
- Work in process methods (WIP)
