The role of a Banquet Server is to enhance the guests total experience by providing a high-quality food and beverage product & outstanding guest service in a banquet/catered event setting.

This position will appeal to people who are not necessarily looking for a consistent work schedule and who can appreciate a flexible scheduling work environment. Successful applicants often have employment elsewhere or go to school or do not need to work full time. Typically, though, the more available you are to work, the more work you will get.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Be involved in several types of service including plated and buffet dinners, breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, wine service and bartending when needed.
- Complete set up and tear down of meetings, functions, gala events, receptions, including the moving of banquet tables and chairs.
- Work within the catering environment for groups from 5 up to 300 people.
- To serve all guests with a high level of service and in a timely fashion.

**Qualifications**:

- Team oriented and self motivated
- High energy and physically able to meet the demands of the job
- Must be dedicated to exceptional guest service
- Food and beverage experience an asset
- Attention to detail
- Takes ownership of duties, shows initiative and is proactive
- Must be health and safety conscious and dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
