**About the Role**:
The Cambridge Food Bank is building health and belonging through food. We offer a variety of food, health, and wellness programs.

The primary function of the Mobile Food Market Coordinator is to bring low-cost, fresh produce to neighborhoods across Cambridge and North Dumfries. This innovative program is designed to offer dignified access to nutritious food, promote increased consumption of fruit and vegetables as well as build social connections in neighborhoods.

**About You**:
You are physically fit and can manage the physical demands of loading and unloading produce in and out of a van up to 4x per day. Safe lifting and movement are a priority for you as you know how important it is to care for your body in a physically demanding position. You can work outside in all weather conditions, engage and motivate volunteers and build friendly relationships with those we serve.

You have an outgoing personality and notice when someone seems unsure of themselves or needs extra support. You remember names and can encourage people to try a vegetable they have never heard of before, providing suggestions on how to prepare it and the benefits of trying new food.

Nutritious food and ensuring that those in our community have equitable access to nutrition that will support their physical and mental wellbeing is a passion of yours and you see the benefits of people from all walks of life shopping together, developing friendships and connections.

You have a valid G license and a clear driver's abstract and are confident in driving and caring for a sprinter van
- this is your office and a moving billboard for the Cambridge Food Bank, you understand the importance of keeping it in tip top shape.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- A commitment to the values and mission of the Cambridge Food Bank, with a desire to treat everyone with kindness, respect, and compassion

Basic math skills that ensure you are collecting market fees and balancing a sales log.
- An educational background that will support you in this work, typically acquired through a diploma in a relevant field such as recreation and leisure, social services, community support, or nutrition.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, set and meet deadlines, manage resources, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity as well as sensitivity to issues related to living in poverty
- A valid Ontario driver’s license; with clear driver's abstract

**Additional Details **

Hours: The CFB’s regular office hours are Monday-Friday 9-5pm. It is understood that all team members are often required to work irregular hours to ensure that the objectives of the organization are being met. This includes working evenings and weekends, especially during peak times of the year. You will typically work full-time, daytime hours, however, evening and weekend work may be necessary.

This is a full-time, permanent position at 37.5 hours per week; enrollment into group benefits package and up to 3% RRSP matching following successful completion of probationary period.
