**ABOUT THE TEAM**

The Brand Marketing Team at Sephora Canada partners with strategic brands that sell at Sephora. Using data and insights, the team establishes marketing plans to help brands grow their sales and client engagement.

**WHA**T** YOU'LL DO**

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for joining forces with strategic makeup and fragrance brands at Sephora. Serving as their internal marketing contact and in-house consultant, you will help them build 360 marketing plans, facilitating their growth and further engage with Sephora’s Canadian clients. You will report to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing.

**Responsibilities**:
Integrated Marketing
- Lead the marketing relationship between Sephora and 15+ external brands
- Develop a keen understanding of the brands’ businesses, priorities and products
- Navigate brand conversations with senior marketing leaders in the brands’ organizations
- Advise brands strategically and tactically on how to win at Sephora from an omni-channel standpoint, including client messaging, creative, advertising, social media and sampling strategy, to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives
- For select brands with limited marketing means, advise on general Canadian marketing strategy and the best use of the brand’s marketing resources, both inside and outside of the immediate world of Sephora
- Build and maintain annual brand marketing exposure calendars within a continuous planning cycle Lead brand plan execution with excellence, ensuring delivery of all brand activation requirements

Partnership Marketing
- Develop strong partnership marketing programs, securing brand participation and co-op funding
- Analyze and report on Sephora and brand value for collaborative marketing program investments, providing insightful recommendations that deliver outstanding results for both Sephora and the brand
- Identify brand opportunities and build the case for new co-op marketing programs and partnerships

Cross-Functional Leader
- Serve as the marketing ‘go-to’ contact for internal Sephora partners within both Merchandising and Marketing
- Build reciprocal partnerships cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization (including merchandising, dotca, digital marketing, loyalty, store marketing, events, marketing operations, education, planning and analytics)
- Develop close ties with US counterparts to advise, leverage and influence for the Canadian market Play a meaningful role in building and evolving the Brand Marketing service model in Canada
- Bring plans to life through organized process and follow-through Provide constructive creative feedback
- Demonstrate our Sephora values of passion, innovation, expertise, balance, respect, teamwork and initiative

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- 5+ years related experience in brand management/marketing in a consumer-facing, fast-paced working environment (retail and/or beauty an asset)
- Proven omni-channel marketing experience with strong data-driven decision-making that gets results
- Proven track record to lead as a creative self-starter with a can-do demeanour and roll-up your sleeves approach Proactive problem-solving skills to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternative solutions/ideas
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with honed presentation confidence to express expertise and point of view in multiple forums and leadership levels
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills to drive multiple projects simultaneously within timelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with approachable style and consistent track record to establish relationships and work effectively in a highly cross
- functional team
