**We are excited to be recruiting for a Hotel Houseperson at our amazing property, Wyndham Garden Winnipeg Airport.**

**This is a part time position, and the hours depend on hotel business levels.**

Wyndham Garden is a full-service hotel located on the first Urban Reserve in Winnipeg; the Long Plain Madison Reserve located on Treaty 1 territory. The hotel is owned by Long Plain First Nation and is operated by Winnipeg based Sparrow Hotels. The hotel features 132 guest rooms, pool, waterslide, fitness centre, 5800 square feet of flexible meeting space, dining room, café, and 230 parking stalls.

The **Houseperson **is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of assigned general/public areas within the Hotel.

**Duties**:

- Cleaning of assigned public areas to the standard of training.
- Preparation of supplies for daily assignments.
- Proper maintenance of equipment, proper care and storage of supplies.
- Assisting other team members until all duties are complete.
- Cross training into other roles within the Housekeeping and Maintenance Department as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

- Direct Hotel Cleaning experience

- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
- Should be able to work in a team environment and individually

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $14.15 per hour
