**Job Summary**
Responsibilities will include: Develop individual learning activities and tasks for each learner in numeracy/computers from Indicators Level 1 to Level 3 in preparation for the milestones and culminating tasks. Work with learners to identify realistic, attainable goals (short-term and long-term learning goals as well as long-term employment or training goals). Assist learners in developing academic study skills. Prepare and maintain learners' records of assessments, learning activities, tasks, milestones, training plans, client files and statistical records Conduct on-going assessments and document learner progress. Conduct regular follow-up with learners who have completed the program.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Languages, Education, English, Mathematics, Computers Technology and/or Adult Education
- Training in one or more of the following: Employment Ontario Information System (EOIS) Case Management System (CaMS), Enhanced Learner Plan (ELP), adult education, curriculum development, literacy instruction, assessment, English as a Second Language
- Granted a user role by Service Provider Registration Authority (SPRA)
- Experience instructing adults or training and knowledge of Employment Ontario and Second Career
- Skill and experience working with adult learners with learning challenges
- Knowledge of referral process between community service and support agencies
- Excellent computer knowledge and ability to design student-centred learning opportunities
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or environment.
