An Associate is responsible for performing tasks involving physical labour and attention to detail, and is responsible for the efficient processing and manufacturing of cannabis material according to established procedures, protocols, and workplace policies.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Harvesting and processing of cannabis
- Operation of automated and manual processing equipment
- Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis
- Transporting cannabis between production environments in a sanitary fashion
- Accurately document all work performed as directed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Participate in the post-harvest sanitation; including appropriate disposal of plant materials and routine cleaning and sterilization of equipment
- Milling cannabis and/or creating pre-rolls
- Record keeping and data collection
- Work with the cleaning crew to clean all areas of the facility
- Operate in a safe and compliant manner and adhering to Company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications and Expectations**:
- Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality, and teamwork
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand or sit for duration of shift along with good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and strong attention to detail
- Capable of following strict processes and procedure with mínimal supervision
- 1-2 years of experience working within a highly regulated GPP/GMP/HACCP environment is an asset
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Previous experience working in cannabis is an asset
- Grade 12 or GED
- Drivers license or reliable form of transportation
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate a smart phone with ease
**Work Conditions**
- Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts during the day
- Overtime available as needed
- Indoor conditions
- Physically demanding and repetitive work
- Frequently lift a minimum of 30 lbs without assistance
- Masks are required while working with raw plants
