**PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for ensuring team members are productive and meet their cleaning tasks time lines;
- Responsible for assisting in ensuring the stadium is clean and healthy;
- Provide service excellence to guests, other employees and the general public;
- Follow BC Place policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines;
- Ensure team compliance with BC Place policies and procedures, and occupational health and safety regulations;
- Meet with the Supervisors / Manager and other Team Leads prior to start of shift to determine work tasks for the teams;
- Provide briefings to assigned team(s);
- Ensure staff are equipped with the necessary tools for the tasks at hand;
- Inform Supervisor / Manager of any staffing, client, or safety issues;
- Monitor progress of the team and give guidance when required;
- Train new staff as required;
- Prioritize work based on operational demands and deadlines;
- Complete the required documentation and related forms;
- Perform other duties as required.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Strong knowledge of carpet cleaning and floor finishing or willing to learn these skills;
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of recycling and waste procedures;
- Demonstrated good attendance if already employed with the stadium;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and other employees from all levels, including contractors, at BC Place;
- Strong communication skills;
- Must have leadership skills with the ability to work with and lead a team;
- Able to provide clear directions, collect and track information, read and fill out reports;
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
- Able to resolve conflicts, make sound decisions, and use resources efficiently;
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Flexible to work all shifts based around events: days, afternoons, and overnights; including evenings and weekends.
- Physically fit and mentally able to handle assigned tasks and stressful situations including exposure to seasonal heat and cold in an outdoor and indoor environment, extensive walking and periods without sitting;
- Service attitude, professional, friendly, courteous;
- Driver’s License a strong asset;
- Fork Lift certification a strong asset.

**Hourly Rate of Pay**: $21.96
