Avid is a high precision measurement service company that acquires 3-dimensional information about our clients’ parts, tooling, machines or entire processes. Decisions are made based on this data that can have a significant impact on their business. We are hired based on trust. We are paid for our precision.

Our technicians need to have an aptitude for math, a strong sense of spatial awareness, a commitment to continuous improvement, and be detail oriented.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acquire 3-dimensional data using articulating arms, laser trackers and scanners
- Conduct part and fixture certifications, CAD to part analysis, repeatability studies, leveling and alignment projects and other measurement activities
- Prepare detailed visual reports for presentation
- Communicate in a clear and professional manner
- Trouble shoot & problem solve on a daily basis
- Maintain equipment and tooling

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years in 3-dimensional measurement, static or mobile
- Polyworks Inspector experience ideal
- Experience with use of articulating arms
- Experience with use of laser trackers preferred, but not required
- Systematic problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Be capable of handling the physical requirements of this position including lifting and transferring measurement devices in their designated equipment cases, prolonged physical manipulation of the various measurement devices and frequent bending, reaching and climbing to measure features of various sizes and configurations
- Valid driver’s license & insurance

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
