**Responsibilities**
- Direct and coordinate the activities of team members in the Module Quality shift.
- You will be responsible for the performance of Quality Inspectors and Technicians: Evaluating the inspectors and technicians’ performance on a periodic basis will be required.
- Mentor, train and develop your direct reports as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Enforce safety and other applicable rules and regulations, cultivating a strong and positive safety culture.
- Audit and support organization quality standard compliance as required (IATF 16949,etc).
- Escalate and communicate quality and performance issues with required urgency.
- Lead process investigations to improve process stability and capabilities on Module components/products from its root cause.
- Lead investigations for incidents relating to safety and environment and ensure proper reporting.
- Facilitate and work towards consistent communication with multi-functional teams, including Production, Purchasing, Technology, Engineering.
- Able to learn and train others on technical, safety, and quality control methods.
- Maintain all lab and testing equipment/method with proper instruction including CMM.
- Manage the calibration and gauge R&R of testing equipment as required in the lab.
- Maintain related records, logs, and paperwork.
- Ensure all team members are productive and promote a harmonious work environment.
- Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards and ensure all employees follow your leadership and execute according to requirements:

- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in related manufacturing or technical laboratory environment is required.
- 1 to 3 years of leadership experience is required.
- Working experience with calibration and measuring devices such as calipers, gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to support customer production schedules including day and night shift on a rotating schedule on a reliable basis.
- Experience working in an IATF certified environment is considered an asset.
- Greenbelt or Lean Six Sigma certifications is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Positive, dedicated attitude and demonstrated effectiveness to achieve given goals within timelines.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analyzing data and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop others.
