**About Technical Writer Role**

Ambipar Response Emergency Services Canada is seeking a professional talented Technical Writer to join our team.
- Is passionate about converting complex information into content that is comprehensible to different audiences.

The Technical Writer reports to the VP of Operations and works closely with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders to create documents such as proposals, exercise reports/plans, response plans, procedures, and other technical documents that are accurate, compliant, concise, well formatted and communicate effectively to the end
- users.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Create detailed and informative reports that document emergency response activities, findings, and results.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures to ensure best practices are documented and followed during emergency response operations.
- Organize and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring easy access and version control for all technical documents related to emergency response.
- Ensure all technical documentation are accurate and clear and adhere to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments. Share insights and best practices with the team.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of technical writing experience including content development and editing preferably with respect to emergency preparedness, response, and maintenance.
- Completion of a Technical Writing certificate is an asset.
- Proficiency with using relevant software including MS Office programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong listening and comprehension skills.
- The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships, and function effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong presentation and organizational skills.
- Manage a heavy workload with time sensitive deadlines.
- Handle sensitive confidential information with integrity.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abbotsford, BC V3G 2T4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
